Our Only Location
Happy Tooth Dental Clinic has one clinic and no branches: Pakway Plaza, Mir Dad Chowk, Block N, Phase 2, Johar Town, Lahore 54000, founded and led by Dr. Manahil Iftikhar. Our only phone and WhatsApp number is +92 333 6333643, and our only website is happytooth.pk. A dental clinic in Allama Iqbal Town uses this exact name and is not connected to us — how to tell which clinic you are booking with.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept dental insurance?
We do not bill insurers directly — payment is made at the clinic. Dental insurance is uncommon in Pakistan, but some employers run medical schemes that reimburse dental treatment, and those work fine: we give you a fully itemised invoice showing the treatments carried out, the date, and the treating dentist, which is what a scheme normally asks for. Tell reception before you pay and we will make sure the paperwork carries whatever your provider needs, including a stamp or signature if the form requires one. If your scheme wants a pre-treatment estimate rather than a receipt afterwards, we can provide that too — ask when the treatment plan is drawn up.
How do I reach you outside clinic hours?
Message WhatsApp on +92 333 6333643. The clinic is open Monday to Saturday, 3:00 to 9:00 PM, and messages sent overnight or on Sunday are answered once we open — usually within the first hour. If you are in genuine pain close to or after closing time, message anyway rather than waiting for the next day: we will advise you on what to do overnight and get you seen as early as we can. We are not a 24-hour service and will not pretend otherwise. Spreading facial swelling, fever, or difficulty swallowing or breathing needs a hospital emergency department that night, not a message that will be read in the afternoon.
Is parking available at your clinic?
Yes. There is dedicated parking directly in front of the clinic at Pakway Plaza on Mir Dad Chowk, so you do not need to hunt for a space on the road. The clinic is on Block N, Phase 2 in Johar Town, reachable in about five minutes from Model Town and ten from Faisal Town or Wapda Town. Our hours are Monday to Saturday, 3:00 to 9:00 PM, which means you arrive outside the worst of the daytime congestion around Johar Town. If you are driving somewhere unfamiliar, message us on WhatsApp and we will send the location pin rather than have you rely on a search result.
What are your clinic hours?
We are open Monday to Saturday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and closed on Sunday. The evening hours are deliberate: they make it possible to come after work or after school without taking leave, and many clinics in Lahore have shut by the time ours is busiest. Walk-ins are welcome throughout, though there can be a wait at peak times because they are fitted between booked appointments. If you are in genuine pain close to or after closing, message +92 333 6333643 anyway — we will advise you and get you seen as early as we can. We are not a 24-hour service and will not pretend otherwise; for spreading facial swelling with fever, go to a hospital emergency department rather than wait for us to open.
Do you offer emergency dental services?
Yes. We keep same-day slots for genuine emergencies — severe toothache, a broken or knocked-out tooth, facial swelling, or bleeding that will not stop — and those are seen ahead of booked appointments rather than fitted in at the end. Call or WhatsApp +92 333 6333643 before setting off and we will advise you on first aid for the journey, which for a knocked-out tooth genuinely changes the outcome. Our evening hours, Monday to Saturday from 3:00 to 9:00 PM, cover the window when many Lahore clinics have already closed. We are not a 24-hour service and will not pretend otherwise: outside those hours a hospital emergency department is the right call.
Do you speak Urdu at the clinic?
Yes. Consultations, explanations and treatment plans are all available in Urdu as well as English, and most patients switch between the two. If you searched for a daant ka doctor in Johar Town, or you have been putting off treatment because you did not want to discuss it in English, that is not a barrier here. Dr. Manahil Iftikhar explains findings in whichever language you are most comfortable with, and written estimates can be talked through line by line before you decide anything. Bring a family member if it helps — nobody is rushed.
What is teeth scaling, and is it the same as daant ki safai?
Yes, they are the same thing. Daant ki safai — professional scaling and polishing — removes the hardened tartar that brushing cannot shift, particularly along the gum line and behind the lower front teeth. An ultrasonic scaler breaks the deposits up, then the teeth are polished and given a fluoride finish. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes. If your gums are inflamed you may notice some bleeding during the clean, and some sensitivity afterwards is common — it usually settles over the following days to a couple of weeks as the gums recover, and there is no single reliable figure for how long it takes. It is the main way gum disease is prevented, not a cosmetic extra.
