Founded in 2020 by Dr. Manahil Iftikhar in Johar Town, Lahore, Happy Tooth Dental Clinic was born from a simple vision: to make quality dental care accessible, comfortable, and even enjoyable. What started as a small practice has grown into a four-specialist clinic — and Dr. Manahil still examines every patient herself before any treatment begins.

How We Keep Your History
Most of what makes dentistry safe happens before anyone picks up an instrument. Here is what we do with what you tell us.
What happens to the history you give us?
You fill it in on a tablet at the clinic rather than on a clipboard, and it is saved against your record. On your next visit it is not a blank form again — your previous answers come back for you to check and correct. Each visit is stored as its own version rather than overwriting the last, so what you told us at your last visit is still on file alongside what you tell us today — nothing is quietly replaced.
Which questions do we ask that most forms skip?
Three, because each one changes what is safe to do on the day. Whether you take blood thinners — people rarely list anticoagulants under 'medications', and they affect extractions and surgery. Whether you use paan, gutka, naswar or chaalia, asked separately from smoking, because most people do not count it as smoking, and it carries a well-established oral cancer risk that is easy to miss if nobody asks about it separately. And whether you have had a problem with dental treatment before — prolonged bleeding, a reaction to anaesthetic, a dry socket.
How is consent handled?
You read the consent, type your name and sign on screen before treatment. The exact wording you agreed to is stored with your signature, so if the form is later reworded, your record still shows what you actually signed. Consents are not editable after the fact — a correction means signing again, and both are kept.
Where does everything end up?
In one place. Your X-rays, treatments, visit notes, payments, consents and appointments sit on a single timeline under one patient number, so any dentist here can see your full history before touching a tooth. Families can be linked under one phone number, so a child does not need their own. Every change to a record is logged with who made it and when.
The intake form is filled in at the clinic on a staff-operated tablet — there is no patient login, and nothing is asked of you before you arrive. Book a visit and we will take it from there.
